What happens once I arrive at the facility to be admitted? 

ADMISSION PAPERWORK

A member of our staff will sit with you upon arrival to sign and file all necessary paperwork:

  • Consent for treatment

  • Release of information

  • Medical paperwork

  • Treatment Information

URINALYSIS, BODY & BELONGINGS SEARCH

  • After check-in, a same-sex staff member will perform a search and an initial urine screen

  • Personal belongings will be searched with the client and then placed into a heated tent 

ORIENTATION OF FACILITY

  • A staff member will introduce you to the rest of the staff and show you around the facility:

    • Counselor offices

    • Kitchen

    • Laundry services 

    • Bedroom

What should I bring to treatment?

WHAT TO BRING

  • State-issued Driver’s License, Photo ID, SS Card, Passport or Birth Certificate

  • Insurance Card

  • Sealed packs of tobacco/chew 

  • Current prescriptions medications with refills

  • Basic hygiene products need to be new and seal in original packaging

    • (shampoo, bar soap, 1 razor, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste)

      • specialized items may be purchased during store run

  • Clippers

  • Envelopes, stationery, and stamps for writing friends and relatives

NUMBER OF BAGS

  • Limit belongings to only two bags

CLOTHING

  • Please bring comfortable clothing that will be seasonally appropriate.

    • (spring/winter jackets, boots, hats, gloves)

  • NO cut-off shirts or shirts with beer/drug slogans.

  • You will be going outside to meetings and for walks. Nighttime attire. Also, include lounging clothes such as sweatpants, sweatshirts, and t-shirts.

  • Laundry facilities are available at the Center.

MONEY

  • A small amount of money or prepaid debit cards no more than $100 will be needed for incidentals and vending machines. Small bills and coins are preferred

  • Money orders or Western Unions are not accepted.

What am I prohibited to bring to treatment?

  • Outside food or drinks

  • Pillows, Blankets, and stuffed animals

  • Rolling tobacco, vapes, or supplies 

  • Small Tvs/Radios/Computers/Tablets

  • Non-prescription medications

  • Sharp instruments or weapons (knives, guns, etc.)

  • Cell phones (will be locked up upon arrival)

  • Valuable jewelry

  • Alcohol-based items (astringent or mouthwash)

When will I be discharged from treatment? 

  • Treatment dates may vary, and are based on the clients individualized treatment plan.

How will I get home?

  • Transportation will be arranged with the clinical and nursing staff.

FAMILIES ARE ABLE TO SEND CLOTHING ITEMS, HYGIENE PRODUCTS, AND ECT. TO THEIR LOVED ONES THROUGH WALMART OR AMAZON WEBSITES.

What should I expect during treatment?

MEALS

  • All meals are home-cooked and served at the following times:

    • 8 am, Breakfast

    • 12 pm,  Lunch

    • 5 pm,  Dinner

MEDICATION 

  • Distribution times:

    • 7:30-8:30 am, Morning 

    • 12-1 pm, Lunch 

    • 5:30pm-6:30pm, Evening 

    • 9pm-10pm, Bedtime
